UPDATE

*still having issues with my blog.

*kiley turned 7 on friday! we all got up early and she opened her presents and we had french toast. we are french toast freaks!! she got a green ipod, pj's and a hannah montana microphone.

*for the past 10 years, every christmas jeremy eats boxes of candy canes. he LOVES them. he loves the peppermint icecream. i always buy it for him and have never been able to understand why anyone would like candy cane icecream! i finally tried it with lots of chocolate syrup and i really like it. chocolate really does make everything better!

*the girls had their last volleyball game on saturday. they improved so much during the season. they love it and will start back up in the spring.

*we took the girls shopping on saturday to buy christmas for a family. we bought the 3 children each 2 outfits, underwear, and two toys and the parents a couple of different gift cards including dinner and movies. i get teary just thinking about them being able to go out on a date to a nice restaraunt and to a movie. jeremy and i go out on a date like that every weekend. it made me realize how much i take for granted. i know the girls are so young and don't fully understand that if we didn't do this for the family that those children would have nothing to open on christmas morning. i hope someday they will and hopefully do the same with their husbands and kids. i really enjoyed doing this and am definitely going to do it every year. a big thank you to my husband who works so hard to provide for me and our girls! and to my parents who provided for me until poor jeremy took me on. i wonder if they paid him???

Blogger officially doesn't like me. I CAN'T get my pics to post and I am really getting ticked off. I also can't change my font, font color, font size. I DO NOT like when things don't work. ANYWAY, enough complaining, I did a few different slide shows of the stuff I had posted about the other day.

It's now after 1am and I WAS going to stay up tonite and wrap. I have been wasting time on the computer and haven't wrapped one thing. Hmmmmm, should I go to bed or start wrapping????? Ugh, and I need to go to the post office and mail the Marcoms gift this week. I would rather just book a trip out there and take the dang present to them myself than stand in line at the post office. Or I could just wait and take it to them when we go on our trip in February.

Just Stuff

We finally put the trees up last weekend. We usually do it the weekend of Thanksgiving, but it didn't happen this year. We also didn't make it to the cabin to cut down our real tree so Fry's Markeplace came in handy this year! The girls had a fun time decorating. I considered not even putting up the "pretty tree" this year. I was feeling like what's the point? I snapped out of that mood and also did the "fake pretty tree". I am done with my shopping and what I am feeling stressed about is my Christmas cards. I had pictures scheduled for November and then we had to cancel so we did get them taken last week, but I still haven't ordered my cards. I take that back. The GIRLS had their pictures taken last week. Jeremy and I decided the night before that we should lose some weight in 2009 and be in picture next year! We'll See!

We went to Pedros and then Glendale Glitters with the Wardles for Family Home Eveing. It was well, ya know, a night with 6 girls who are reaching over the table at the restaraunt which caused a total of 3 drinks at different times to spill, all of them wanting to go to the bathroom together and so on. At Glendale Glitters they were running around like wild animals. We should have made it a date night. In fact, I have decided to make everything I do a date night! About 2 months ago, I was questioning whether I was supposed to have another baby. I got my answer. It's HE** NO!!!!!

It's not actually Kiley's year to have a bday party (they get to have a party on their even birthdays) but Tylar actually didn't get a party this year either, we did her baptism party, anyway who cares, blah blah, basically I let each girl pick one friend and we went for a little fun day. We went to PEI WEI for lunch. The girls love it. Kiley's friend Hailey had never been there and I don't think she cared for it too much so I did feel bad about that. They had fun though "trying" to use chopsticks. The girls had a choice between going to Justice or As you Wish to make pottery. They picked Justice. They each got to pick a webkinz and one other item. We stopped at Bashas because I totally forgot to order a cake! Of course they didn't have any birthday cakes only Christmas decorated cakes so that's what we went with. It was not the most exciting birthday party, but I think they enjoyed it. If not, too bad!!

WoW! I am really frustrated! I can't post my pics! BuGGiN!!!!!

PHILADELPHIA

Tylar and Kiley went to their 1st football game in Philly two weeks ago. Jeremy, Big Mike and the girls flew out on Friday for the Sunday Night Football Game and spent a FUN weekend with Jeremy's sister Tammy. She spoiled the girls and they LOVED it! Uncle Andy took them through the practice facility. They went in the locker room and had their picture taken in the press conference room. Aunt Tammy has a dippin dots freezer in her suite and they had like 8 bowls of dippin dots!!! They had such a great time. Thanks Tammy for making their weekend so much fun!

P.S. Today I am grateful for computers! I seriously do not know what I would do without my AWESOME PINK LAPTOP! What did we use to do without computers????

FRIENDSHIP

I have been such a slacker at blogging. I should have been doing this ALL month but hey, it's never too late to start right???

Today I am thankful for my GOOD friends!! My friend Dawn came in from Atlanta last week and OH MY GOSH, I had the best time. Ever since we moved back, I have felt something was missing in my life. What's missing is my best friend. She is the one I call when I am having a bad day. She is the one who tells it like it is, who lets me know I am at fault when me and my husband have a fight, not the friend who just takes your side because it's a girl thing. She is the one who knows it was the best decision for us to move back here even though it meant her and I would be 2000 miles apart. Dawn is the only person other than my hubby, who knows literally EVERYTHING about me. She knows my deepest darkest secrets and still loves me!! I love and miss her and am so GRATEFUL for Verizon IN calling.

Here are some quotes I like about friendship.

"A true friend is someone who thinks that you are a good egg even though he knows that you are slightly cracked." -- Bernard Meltzer.

Who finds a faithful friend, finds a treasure. -- Jewish Saying

One who looks for a friend without faults will have none. -- Hasidic Saying

A real friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out.-- Walter Winchell

"Friendship is a strong and habitual inclination in two persons to promote the good and happiness of one another."

another stuffed dog???

Today Brielle, Buddy, Popcorn, Molly and I made a trip to costco. With 1 girl and 3 build-a-bear puppies already in the cart you can imagine me trying to load in two 15lb. bags of potatoes, two 20lb. turkeys, peanut oil(which by the way was $50!!! why is that stuff so expensive???) and LOTS of other items. You know how you can just see people staring at you. Of course, not all the looks were strange, there were a few nice people who stopped to ask her if her puppies had names. I like nice people. Crazy me decides to take her down the toy aisle and their it is....the FurReal Dog!!!

Brielle: "Oh mommy can I peeez get out and pet the doggie?"
Me: "Yes baby, just for a minute."
Brielle: petting the dog, hugging him, kissing him, telling him he is the nicest doggie. "I love him mommy. He is the best doggie ever."
Me: "I know sweetie. He is such a nice dog."
Brielle: "Can I buy him?"
Me: "No baby, you can't buy him today."
Brielle: "Can I buy him peeez mommy? I love him."
Me: "No honey. We are not buying the dog today."
Brielle: "Can I call daddy tell him buy the doggie for me peeez?"
Me: "No baby, but you can tell daddy about him when he gets home from work and maybe you can put the doggie on your Christmas list. Tell him bye-bye."
Brielle: hugging the dog, "I love you. I will ask my daddy I can buy you and I will come back and get you take you home to my house I pomise(paw-miss)."

I was brusing Tylar's hair tonight and Brielle comes running in and says "daddy said I can put the doggie on my Kwissmas Wist, Ya Baby Ya Baby!"

I don't think she understands the difference between actually getting it for Christmas and putting it on her Christmas list. Oh boy!! What to do!! She is obsessed with dogs. Half the time SHE is a dog or we are watching dog movies such as airbud, airbuddies, snowbuddies, shaggy dog, snow dogs, lady and the tramp and so on.........

HALLOWEEN

Tylar was Gabriella, Kiley was Sharpay and Brielle was an animal doctor and I know what it is called I am just not attempting to spell it! Call me stupid I don't care!! She was supposed to be Sleeping Beauty but she is soooooo obsessed with dogs these days and she didn't want to wear her sleeping beauty so we threw the doc outfit on.
We went to Hillary and Scotts. Camden was Batman, Brenna was Dorothy and Deacon was the Hulk. Doesn't he look great?
We had chili and hotdogs and lots of candy and just hung out. It was fun.

It's Great to be 8!

Saturday was a special day for Tylar. She turned 8 and was able to be baptized on her birthday. The day went really well. We had a lunch after and a little birthday for her. Thanks to everyone who was there on her special day. We really appreciate your love and support. We finally broke down and got her an ipod. She has been asking for one for over a year. She was SOOO excited!

Happy Birthday!

Jeremy turned 38 today! He is actually asleep on the couch right now and it is only 9:45. He is definitely getting old. OR maybe he leaves too early for work in the morning(usually between 3:30 and 4:30). I did tell him he couldn't go in until the girls made him breakfast. They were so excited to make him his FAVORITE! French Toast!! Lucky him got to sleep in this morning thanks to his girlys. I, being the best wife ever, headed out TODAY to get him a present and since I am the best wife ever, I got him BORING clothes! Oh and the best wife ever also stopped at fry's and got the LAST, DORKY birthday cake they had. I really put ALOT of time and effort into his birthday this year. I think I deserve Best Wife of the Year award.

Happy Birthday Jeremy!! I love you!

Fall Break Day 2

today started out with bug going to the eye doctor. she has been complaining about not being able to see and her eyes are always watery and itchy. i am a bad mom because i never did anything about it until the school nurse sent home a letter referring her to an eye doctor. sure enough she needs glasses and has dry eye. i felt so bad watching her do the exam when she couldn't read the 4th line! the doc says she needs to wear them full time and hopefully in time her vision will be corrected. she was such a good patient and is really excited to get her new glasses. they should have them ready in about a week so i will post a picture of her soon.

after the eye doctor, we headed for the grocery. i have been a big slacker on cooking dinner! i forgot how much i do not like going to the grocery with all three kids. why does it have to be so difficult? can't we just put brielle in the cart and throw the food in and be out the door? not with my kids! tylar is hanging on the cart, kiley is begging to buy this or that, brielle wants me to open the cosmic brownies so she can have one. i swear i think my kids are the only ones who behave like that. i hate going to the grocery store. seriously, you put the food in the cart, you take the food out of the cart and onto the conveyer belt, then you load the groceries into your car, take the groceries into the house, empty them from the bags and then put them away. it's so annoying.

after the groceries were put away we headed for the dentist. brielle thinks she is a dog. seriously, she crawls around all the time and barks and pants and licks. while tylar and kiley are back with the hygeniest, popcorn (that's one of her names when she is a dog. she is also sparkles and lily too) and i are in the waiting room. she is doing her dog thing, crawling on all fours, panting and licking and barking and a older man comes in. he was such a sweet man, we talked for a few minutes and then he asked brielle something and she barked at him. like 3 barks! so he asks her another question and she barks again! she just sat there on her hands and knees barking at him. i apologized to him and explained that she has been "pretending" to be a dog lately. sometimes i don't think she is pretending, i think SHE REALLY thinks she is a dog!

we drive out of the parking lot at the dentist office and i get pulled over!! mr. police officer says i rolled through the stop sign rather than stopping at the stop sign. whatever! he was nice though. i got a verbal warning. thank goodness. i really did not need a ticket. we made it to costco and treated ourselves to a yummy churro. costco was much better than the grocery store. the kids were actually very well behaved. lucky me!

back to school tomorrow. :)

Fall Break Day 1

The girls are on fall break today and tomorrow. We spent the day with my friend Hillary and her kids. Hillary and I grew up together. It's so fun seeing our children play together now. We went to McDonalds and then back to our house for icecream cones and the kids enjoyed playing in the backyard. We are loving the weather right now :) I think it's supposed to be back in the 90's by this weekend :(

Tylar and Camden have had a crush on each other since Kindergarten. So Cute :)

Played ALL Weekend!

We had a fun weekend. Some buddies of Jeremys from Atlanta came for the weekend. They played 18 holes on Thursday and 36 on Friday and then went out to dinner. I got a babysitter Friday night and went out with a couple of girlfriends. First to purse party. That was fun. Got a cute new handbag and hat. We went to macaroni grill for dinner and chili's for my favorite dessert, Paradise Pie!! Worm's friends came out for the Georgia/ASU football game and I got invited at the last minute. So sweet of my husband to let me tag along! And now I will complain by saying that I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER tailgate in AZ again (maybe if it is November or December)! It should be against the law. Why anyone wants to stand on asphalt with hot grills cooking in 100 degree weather is beyond me. We did have a good time though. Cindy and Ray Ray watched the girls for us OVERNIGHT so that was awesome. We went to a place called San Felipes at Tempe Market Place after the game. Yummy food. Mahi Mahi breaded with coconut and almonds on a stick with yummy dipping sauce. SOOO GOOOD!!! I forgot my camera but Mike and Ally took a few shots of us at the restaraunt. Thanks again to Cindy for watching the girls.

AUTUMN in the DESERT!

it's my favorite time of year. the weather cooling, the leaves changing color and falling, haha! i wish! i miss georgia at this time of year. i live in the desert and there is nothing "AUTUMN" about that. i miss the pumpkin patch that we took the kids to every year we lived there. hayrides, the biggest pumpkins ever, white and green pumpkins and lots more!! i took the girls to a pumpkin patch our first year back out in queen creek and it was hotter than he**! we were sweating and the pumpkins were the same boring orange pumpkins i could get at the grocery store. we didn't go back last year. i know they closed the pumpkin patch in young's farm which i think was probably the best one here. if anyone knows of a really good one up north where it's atleast a little cooler than here, please let me know. enough complaining, it is my favorite time of year. i am going to put up my halloween decorations this week with a smile on my face and grateful that i have a home to decorate.

Proud to be an American!

Looking back 7 years ago today on 9/11, I am sure EVERYONE remembers where and what they were doing. I was pregnant with Kiley, Tylar was 10 months old and I was painting/decorating their bathroom. Jeremy called and said that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. He was still on the line and I hurried to the tv. A few minutes after I turned it on the 2nd plane hit. For days I, like many others, was glued to the television. I will never forget the feeling of being so scared, sad and angry. My heart goes out to those who lost family members and friends on that tragic day. I am so grateful for our soldiers who everyday put their lives on the line for our country. I am grateful for Riley (Jeremy's nephew) who serves in the Army and is currently in Iraq. He is loved and missed and I hope he knows what an amazing young man he is. I am grateful for my freedom and I am proud to be an American.

MORE FuN aT the CaBiN

Up north at the cabin again. Jeremy had to stay for court Monday morning. Yes, court in Show Low. In a previous post, I told about a quad accident with my nephew's friend. It was our quad and Jeremy was summoned to court for permitting an underage driver (which technically he did not give the kid permission, but I guess that doesn't matter). Anyway, hopefully everything goes ok. We are already out a quad, I hope we don't get a big fat fine to go along! So here are a few, actually more than a few pictures of this weekend. Jeremy being Jeremy on the tire swing!
Tylar spinning on the tire swing
Kiley spinning on the tire swing
Tylar high in the air spinning on the tire swing

Tylar hanging upside down on the trapeze (is that what it's called? don't laugh, i can't remember!?!!!)
Brielle pouting and refusing to look at the camera
Tylar and Shelby's rock collection. Shelby is Lisa's daughter. I grew up with Lisa and she is married to my sister Kami's husband's brother. Got that??
When we say we are at the cabin, the actual cabin isn't built yet. This is the garage with living quarters above. It has a kitchen, bathroom, and living space and a stage. Once the cabin is done, this will be where the whole family gets together and the kids can perform shows, we can do karaoke or play games etc. I know, we are a very goofy family. Jeremy tells me all the time!
This is where the kids can be kids, sliding, swinging, playing in the sand and telling secrets in the clubhouse.

The cows are not grandpas. They were on the side of the road and Brielle thought they were pretty cool.
My sister Kami, her daughter Alissa, Brielle, Tylar, Kiley, and 3 of Lisa's kids Shelby, Pearce and Mason and I was the driver on the ranger
