It's Not My Fault!

I am relieved to know that this problem I have is not because I fail to take myself to the gym everyday or my horrible eating habits.

Theft Problem - IMPORTANT MESSAGE - You've heard about people who have been abducted and had their kidneys removed by black-market organ thieves well. . . My thighs were stolen from me during the night a few years ago. I went to sleep and woke up with someone else's thighs. It was just that quick. The replacements had the texture of cooked oatmeal. Who's thighs were these and what happened to mine? I spent the entire summer looking for my thighs. Finally, hurt and angry, I resigned myself to living out my life in jeans.

And then the thieves struck again. My butt was next. I knew it was the same gang, because they took pains to match my new rear-end to the thighs they had stuck me with earlier. But my new butt was attached at least three inches lower than my original! I realized I'd have to give up my jeans in favor of long skirts.

Two years ago I realized my arms had been switched. One morning I was fixing my hair and was horrified to see the flesh of my upper arm swing to and fro with the motion of the hairbrush. This was really getting scary -my body was being replaced one section at a time. What could they do to me next?

When my poor neck suddenly disappeared and was replaced with a turkey neck, I decided to tell my story. Women of the world, wake up and smell the coffee! Those plastic surgeons are using REAL replacement body parts - stolen from you and me! The next time someone you know has something "lifted', look again - was it lifted from you? THIS IS NOT A HOAX. This is happening to women everywhere, every night. I have not had the chance to look into Snopes but I am sure it is there! WARN YOUR FRIENDS! P.S. Last year I thought someone had stolen my boobs. I was lying in bed and they were gone! But when I jumped out of bed, I was relieved to see that they had just been hiding in my armpits as I slept. Now I keep them hidden in my waistband.

I am officially at the upper arm swinging as I brush my hair. I am really worried about my neck. Keeping my fingers crossed that I can atleast keep that!

WE LOVE GRANDPA'S CABIN

I have been so busy I haven't updated. Yeah right! I actually just haven't had anything to write about lately. The AZ heat is now here and we have been doing nothing but swimming and watching tv. We decided to go up north to grandpa's cabin for the weekend. Some of my nieces and nephews came to help my dad work and Kyle and Hanna are spending a few weeks up there while on break from medical school so we really had a great time. The weather was nice and the best part about being in the country is being lazy. McKinley catching some air! They have the hose on the tramp and they all get drenched.
Bri Bri feeding the havies. (When Brielle was just learning to talk she pronounced the horses ha-vies so now we all call them that)
Brielle playing fetch with Harley. She loved the cabin too!

Fabulous outfit Brielle!

Breakfast in Bed

I really don't know what I did to deserve such a treat for breakfast this morning. Tylar made me cheese and banana kabobs and yogurt with strawberries and granola with a glass of milk. I think there was about 2 tablespoons of yogurt piled high with granola and the kabobs were so cute, but cheese with bananas? She is such a sweetie.

Girl Fun!

I babysat my nephew last night. He seriously loves dum dum suckers. I think he had about 15 of them along with several sippy cups of chocolate milk. I am such an awesome aunt. (Hanna might not think so!) Kiley asked me why he was allowed to have so many and I told her cause he is so dang cute that's why! I did get a bit stressed though when it was bedtime. He climbs out of the crib and I was afraid he would get into something while I was trying to calm Brielle down because she wanted her huggie (blanket). I was pretty sure we left it at the movie theater that morning. I was focusing my attention on Sullivan, which obviously made things worse. She was SCREAMING for her huggie. I called Jami and she saved me. She went down to the theater and got her huggie and then she watched the girls for me while I drove Sully around to get him to sleep. He was out in like 5 minutes and slept all night! Kiley likes to be mommy so she was in heaven playing with him. Brielle has decided SHE should be the mommy now, so Kiley doesn't like to play house with her anymore. Brielle was really excited when we had to put her old princess pull ups on him because we ran out of diapers. She thought it was pretty cool that he was a boy princess! We had lots of fun having a little boy around. Kari took the girls out for a girls day. They went to Peter Piper Pizza for lunch. After they went to AS YOU WISH. It's a cute little shop where you paint pottery. Then they headed to McDonald's for icecream. They had so much fun spending the day with Aunt Kari. They love her so much!

As for me, Jeremy is in Atlanta golfing, so I had a girls day too. I went to lunch with Jami, had my nails and toes done, got a massage and did a little shopping. I decided to try the deep tissue massage and it kinda hurt. I think I prefer the swedish. It was really nice though to have a day for myself.

OUCHY BOO BOO!

This morning Bri Bri woke up with this nastified infection on her chin. I was dressed and ready to head out the door to the gym at and it hit me that they might not let her go into daycare. I didn't know if it was infintigo (sp?) or something contagious so I called the doctor, which I don't do unless absolutely necessary, but I didn't want my child spreading something to other children. Of course they want me to bring her in at 10, so I head to the doctor, sit in the waiting room with this kid that is at least 5 years old and he is running in circles, jumping off the chairs, and well just being REALLY OBNOXIOUS! Anyway, the doc says it's just a scrape that probably got infected and to put neosporin and aquaphor on it. Nice waste of time and $10! and no muscle mix class for me today:( Her "ouchy boo boo"was hurting tonight and she fell asleep on the couch really sad.

BACKYARD UPDATE

What a difference some grass makes! It is looking more like a backyard with each step. I am loving it already!

concert junkies

we went to the kenny chesney poets and pirates tour last night. i was looking around at all the older people there and thought to myself, why are they coming to a concert? but then i realized that jeremy and i are still going to concerts and i don't think we will ever stop. and the funny thing is that i like the rock concerts way more than country and i am going to be an old person going to rock concerts. i really am a dork!

i did manage to get one pic of hottie keith urban!

pool time

my husband decided that we should move back to atlanta the other day (he really misses the fabulous golfing) and i, as much as i really want to sometimes, freaked out because i love having my own pool. i don't even care that it is surrounded by dirt, i love that i can put my suit on, grab my crystal light and walk out to MY pool. it's so much nicer than loading a cooler, towels, swim toys etc. and driving the golf cart down to the community pool. i really love it. so i ask the girls what they think about moving back and tylar says no, i will miss serena! serena, is her "best friend" from first grade that has never even been to our house nor has she been to her house, so i was a little shocked at her response. i mean, what about the grandparents and cousins? my daughter is worried about leaving a friend, i am worried about leaving my pool and my husband misses his country club! where are our priorities? what ever happened to us moving back because this is where we knew we should be? pull yourselves together garretts!
