back from the ROAD TRIP

this is our house in Georgia

this is the house in memphis that jeremy lived in

so we survived the road trip! we drove all day monday and tuesday, loaded wednesday and drove home thursday and friday. friday was not so good, we had a fight. i am to blame, i get a little carried away sometimes, but lucky for me he still loves me and i am so happy we got our stuff. well, SOME of our stuff. we were surprised to find our home unlocked and our belongings stolen. the refrigerator, bar stools and mirrors in the bathrooms were gone! i am so angry and sad that someone would do this. they were kind enough to leave my window treatments so i did get those also. the playground had weathered pretty bad and the neighbor next door actually wanted it so we sold it to them. the only sightseeing on this road trip was in memphis. jeremy was born there so we tracked down his family's old house and drove by. it was fun to see where he was born and his older siblings grew up. the south really is beautiful and the people are so nice(except for crazy people that stole my stuff!) i do miss it, but i love being back with our families again. and thanks thanks thanks to dawn and jared for letting us crash at their place!

Wow! Gorgous houses! I'm sorry about your stuff that was stolen. We've had cars (plural) stolen and I was really angry too.

Oh my gosh - Could you see that it was broken into or did the realtor leave it unlocked. GRRRRRR.

Kizz - All I really want to know is - did you get me a hot tub??? If so - then you better leave a bedroom open for us at Christmas because you're our new favorite host. :p
