We knew this was coming....our ward split yesterday. It's going to be sad not seeing everyone on Sunday. I am losing some of my very closest friends and also some very friendly faces I love to see in the halls and chat with. I know it's just 3 hours every Sunday and it's not like I am actually losing my friends, it's just going to be different. I am not a person who likes change. But I have to say goodbye to the Cactus Lane Ward and I am sorry that you have to go back to the 8am time...actually, I am sorry for myself who has to go at 2pm...I am selfish and I always want the 10am time...it's the best

you should have moved by us!! We always get the 9:00 church!!!! And we have friendly faces!!! Hope you're feeling better!!
I feel the same way! We've been in the ward for four and a half years, it's hard to see it split. And, we haven't had the 10am time slot since we moved here!
PS- I am totally hiring you for my next party (because I throw them so often- ha ha). Your menu and decor were divine.
I know....SOOO SAD! I am sooo surprised that at least you Greer Ranch gang aren't still stuck with us....toooo sad! And your party looks divine! Glad you love the chicken recipe!! I need to make it again soon, I haven't for a few months! The party decor looks ab fab lady! You are amazing!!
Ward splits are always a bummer! Hopefully, the change won't be too bad for you guys.
Ward changes stink! We've been in our house 10 years and been in 3 wards. The biggest plus is all the new friends you make that you never would have known! I'll be thinking of you!
I'm having some bitter feelings about it...that's for sure! I hate when wards split...it is always so hard but I think this one has been the hardest for me. Especially going to the 8:00 slot..AGAIN....thrilled about that one that's for sure! Will definitely miss havin you guys in the ward I guess we'll have to wait until next year to pass ya in the hallway too! Sorry you guys are at 2:00...that is almost as bad as 8:00. Being as though I'm NOT morning person I'd rather go for the 2 but hey we'll make it through another year of 8...
So hard for us all, so many lost friends and don't know what's better 8 or 2? I'm having a hard time with it all as well!
I'm excited to have help to get all the kids ready for church though!
You'll never believe it, but our Ward split 2 Sundays ago too! You guys were in this ward when it was a branch and now we've split! I hate it too, it's SOOO weird, all these people are gone and you do miss them, plus I lost 14 people in PRIMARY! We didn't gain people so I am STRUGGLING to fill the callings! UGH!!!!
