We had a fun weekend. Some buddies of Jeremys from Atlanta came for the weekend. They played 18 holes on Thursday and 36 on Friday and then went out to dinner. I got a babysitter Friday night and went out with a couple of girlfriends. First to purse party. That was fun. Got a cute new handbag and hat. We went to macaroni grill for dinner and chili's for my favorite dessert, Paradise Pie!! Worm's friends came out for the Georgia/ASU football game and I got invited at the last minute. So sweet of my husband to let me tag along! And now I will complain by saying that I will NEVER and I repeat NEVER tailgate in AZ again (maybe if it is November or December)! It should be against the law. Why anyone wants to stand on asphalt with hot grills cooking in 100 degree weather is beyond me. We did have a good time though. Cindy and Ray Ray watched the girls for us OVERNIGHT so that was awesome. We went to a place called San Felipes at Tempe Market Place after the game. Yummy food. Mahi Mahi breaded with coconut and almonds on a stick with yummy dipping sauce. SOOO GOOOD!!! I forgot my camera but Mike and Ally took a few shots of us at the restaraunt. Thanks again to Cindy for watching the girls.

Proud to be an American!
Looking back 7 years ago today on 9/11, I am sure EVERYONE remembers where and what they were doing. I was pregnant with Kiley, Tylar was 10 months old and I was painting/decorating their bathroom. Jeremy called and said that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. He was still on the line and I hurried to the tv. A few minutes after I turned it on the 2nd plane hit. For days I, like many others, was glued to the television. I will never forget the feeling of being so scared, sad and angry. My heart goes out to those who lost family members and friends on that tragic day. I am so grateful for our soldiers who everyday put their lives on the line for our country. I am grateful for Riley (Jeremy's nephew) who serves in the Army and is currently in Iraq. He is loved and missed and I hope he knows what an amazing young man he is. I am grateful for my freedom and I am proud to be an American.

MORE FuN aT the CaBiN
Up north at the cabin again. Jeremy had to stay for court Monday morning. Yes, court in Show Low. In a previous post, I told about a quad accident with my nephew's friend. It was our quad and Jeremy was summoned to court for permitting an underage driver (which technically he did not give the kid permission, but I guess that doesn't matter). Anyway, hopefully everything goes ok. We are already out a quad, I hope we don't get a big fat fine to go along! So here are a few, actually more than a few pictures of this weekend. Jeremy being Jeremy on the tire swing!

Brielle pouting and refusing to look at the camera
Tylar and Shelby's rock collection. Shelby is Lisa's daughter. I grew up with Lisa and she is married to my sister Kami's husband's brother. Got that??
When we say we are at the cabin, the actual cabin isn't built yet. This is the garage with living quarters above. It has a kitchen, bathroom, and living space and a stage. Once the cabin is done, this will be where the whole family gets together and the kids can perform shows, we can do karaoke or play games etc. I know, we are a very goofy family. Jeremy tells me all the time!
This is where the kids can be kids, sliding, swinging, playing in the sand and telling secrets in the clubhouse.
My sister Kami, her daughter Alissa, Brielle, Tylar, Kiley, and 3 of Lisa's kids Shelby, Pearce and Mason and I was the driver on the ranger
