HOMEMADE OREOS
1 box Devils food cake mix*
3/4c butter flavor crisco
2 eggs
*I only use betty crocker for these cookies..for some reason the other brands never taste as good!!
Mix ingredients and roll into tsp size balls and bake at 350 for 7 mins or just until cookies begin to crack. DO NOT OVERCOOK!! The softer the YUMMIER :)) I also use DARK nonstick cookie sheets
Frosting:
8oz cream cheese softened
1/4c margarine softened
1/4c milk
1 box powder sugar or to consistency (not runny but thick)
Spread between two cookies and ENJOY!!!! Keep refrigerated and will last several days!

I always think about you when I make these. I remember not believing that you had made them once because they looked too perfect. Remember the 19 cent (or around there) thirstbuster from circle K back in the day. That seems like an eternity ago. Hope you and your fam are doing well.
